Subject: Environmental Qualification (EQ) Enforcement Conference
This letter forwards the NRC report of the August 23, 1988 enforcement
conference in the Region I office. At that conference, we discussed the
environmental qualification of Maine Yankee terminal blocks for containment
sump level instrument circuits, cable for reactor coolant hot and cold leg
RTDs, and four solenoid operated valves in the HPSI/ Charging pump suction
vent.
After evaluating the information provided by you, we will natify you in
writing of our decision on enforcement actions on the matters discussed.
