Conference Scope
The enforcement conference considered the following potential EQ
viclations:
Terminal blocks for containment sump level instrument circuits
(50-309/87-16-13)
Cable for reactor coolant hot and cold leg RTDs (50-309/87-16-13)
Four solenoid operated valves in the HPSI/ Charging pump suction vent
(LER-88-005)
The scope of the discussions included:
Number of deficiencies and number of systems and components af fected
Specific and underlying cause of each potential "iolation
Actions taken or planned to correct the individual violations to
a
ensure overall compliance
A discussion of e.:h potential violation in light of the Modifi<d

Licensee Presentation
The licensee presented their position on the EQ issues of concern.
The
licensee presentation is outlined in their handout which is provided as
Attachment A to this document.
4.
Conclusion
The NRC staff stated that the licensee input will be considered in
assessing NRC handling of tne potential enforcement items.
The licensee
will be notified of appropriate enforcement actions in the future.
