Pilgrim Nucle v Power Station, Plymouth, Massachusetts, of activities

authorized by NRC License No. OPR-35 and to the discussions of our findings
held by Dr. Pasciak,with you at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the GRC Region !
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. We are concerned that
measures taken to protect the onsite contaminated dirt storagc pile may not be
adequate to prevent potential rain and wind erosis.t. We request that you
respond to us in writing and outline corrective steps which will be taken to
a
protect the contaminated dirt from wind and rain erosion and when these
j
corrections will be in place.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
