Thank you for your letter dated August 15, 1988, in response to our July 1, 1988 letter which concerned allegations pertaining to radiation protection activities at the Clinton Nuclear Power Station authorized by NRC Operating License No. NPF-62.
In our letter, we requested that you review the allegations, initia a an appropriate investigation, and take corrective actions as deemed nm essary (Allegation No. RIII-88-A-0050). We have no questions concerning your responses to allegations No. 2 and No. 3. Questions concerning allegations No.1 and No. 4 were discussed with your licensing staff on August 26 and N, 1988. Based on those discussions, it is our understanding that you will revise your RWP procedure (1905.10) by September 30, 1988, to outline the administrative functions required to be completed when changing RWP protective requirements, and that your personal decontamination procedures presently include provisions for decontaminating localized high level skin contamination.
Based on these additional responses we have no further questions regarding the allegations at this time. Completion of your corrective actions for these allegations will be tracked under Open Item 461/88022-01.
We will examine your corrective actions and documentation supporting your responses during a future inspection. This allegation is considered closed.
