NRC Region III has received allegations concerning your radiation protection program at the Clinton Nuclear Power Station. Details of the allegations.are-enclosed and are considered as Exempt from Pubif: Disclosure in accordance with Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations,- Part 2.790(a).
We request that the Illinois Power Company review the allegations, initiate an
' appropriate investigation, and 'ake any actions yon deem appropriate. Inasmuch as the allegations involve activities by, or controlled by, Clinton station personnel, your review and investigation should be perforrad by personnel who do not report through.Clinton station management. We also request that the results of your review and disposition of this matter be submitted to us within
.; 45 days of the date of this ietter. Documentation supporting your results should be maintained at Clinton station for subsequent review by Region III.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations a copy of this letter, excluding the enclosure, will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
