The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission hes issued the enclosed Amendment

. No. 60 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-11 and Amendment No. 40 to i facility Operating License NPF-18 for the LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2. These amendments are in response to your letter dated April 26, 1988 supplemented May 31, 1988.

The amendments revise the LaSalle C0unty Station, Units 1 and 2 Technical i Specifications by providing additional requirements for monitoring core j perfonnance and other actions to be taken by the reactor operator in the high i nower/ low flow region of the power to flow map.

A copy of the related Safety Evaluation supporting Amendment No. 60 to Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-11 and Amendment No. 40 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-18 is enclosed. The Notice of Issuence will be ,
