REFERRAL OF All.EGATION TO THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION On April 22, 1987, the Office of Inspector and Auditor (01A) received a memorandum from James M. Cutchin,. IV, legal Assistant to Comissioner Roberts, referring his allegation that Ben B. Hayes, Director, Office of Investigations may have intentionally provided false and misleading testimony during the April 9, 1987 hearing conducted by Senator John Glenn.

I have referred Mr. Cutchin's cliegation to the Federal Bureau of Investigation by latter dated Apri,1 24, 1987.
