COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 1 CORRECTION TO AMENDMENT NO. 8 TO CONSTRUCTION PERMIT CPPR-127 -

COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT 2 dy your letter dated March 4,1988, as supplemented on March 31, 1968, you requested Amendment of Construction Pernits CPPR-126 and CPPR-127 to reflect a reallocation of ownership interest in the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station (CPSES), Units 1 and 2. In accordance with your request, the Nuclear kegulatory Commission issued on August 10, 1988 Amendment No. 9 to Construction Permit CPPR-126 and Amendment No. 8 to Construction fermit CPPR-127 for the CPSES, Units 1 and 2, located in Somervell County, Texas.

1. Each amendment allows a transfer in ownership of the respective CPSES unit from Texas Municipal Power Agency (TMPA) to Texas Utilities Electric Company (TV Electric) in the amount of 6.2%.

Due to an administrative error, these amendments old not make clear that the

' cwnership transfers from Texas Municipal Power Agency to Texas Utilities Electric Company authorized by the amendnents would take place in 10 install-cents as set forth in the Agreement attached to the application dated March 4, 1988.

The Commission has issued corrected amendments to provide this claritication regarding the authorized transfers.
