STEAM GENERATOR TUBE LEAK Unit shutdowr, commenced at 3:38 p.m. on 10/7/77 due to en apparent steam generator tube leak of approximately 0.2 gpm. The unit will be placed i
i in a cold shutdown condition, a portion of the reactor coolant system drained, and the steam generator will be leak tested to identify the leaking tube (s) for repair.
Estimated duration of the shutdown is two weeks.
Licensee issued a press release on 10/7/77.
Region II does not plan to issue a press release.
