Subject: Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-277/86-01; 50-278/86-01
A routine safety inspection was conducted by Dr. Richard Struckmeyer of this
office on January 6-10, 1986 of activities related to the radioactive liquid
and gaseous effluents control program at the Peach Bottom Atomic Power
Station, Units 2 and 3.
Areas examined during this inspection include effluent release records,
effluent control instrumentation, ventilation systems, reactor coolant
chemistry, reports and procedures.
The inspection indicated that one activity was in apparent violation of NRC
requirements.
Details are provided in enclosure Appendix A.

to respond to these findings by following the instructions included in
Appendix A.
