REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - PROPOSED PUMP AND VALVE INSERVICE TESTING PROGRAM (TACS 64976 & 64977)

On February 18 and 19, 1988 a meeting was held between BG&E staff and NRC contractors and staff to discuss the questions presented in our November 13.

1987 request for additional information (RAI) concerning your proposed inservice test (IST) procram for safety-related pumps and valves. This IST program was provided in your letter of February 26, 1987.

Prior to this IST meating, no formal response date had been set for the November 13, 1987 RAI due to the extent of the questions presented therein. ,

Please respond within 70 days of the date of this letter to all questions provided in the November 13, 1987 RAI, with due consideration provided to the discussions of February 18 and 19,1988 as represented by the enclosed trip report.

This request for information affects fewer than 10 respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not reautred under P. L.96-511.
