SUBJECT: REPORT f!0S. 50-369/88-12 AND 50-370/88-12
Thank you for your response of July E,1988, to our Notice of Violation and
Deviation issued on June 6,1988, concernin9 activities conducted at your
McGuire facility.
We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the
requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We also acknowledge your response to Violation
369,370/88-12-04 will be delayed.
In your response to violation 369,370/88-12-03 example number 3, you state that
McGuire did not properly implement Operations Management Procedure (OMP) 2-17
on Removal and Restoration Record Sheets, not Station Directive 3.1.19, as
stated in the notice.
We do not agree with your statement. The basis for the
violation should have been both OMP 2-17 on Removal and Restoration Record
Sheets and Station Direct,ve 3.1.19.
We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during future
inspections.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
