REVIEW OF TOPICAL REPORT NEDE 22148, " EXTENDED BURNUP EVALUATION METHODOLOGY" (TACS 48568)
Enclosed are the results of our review of topical report NEDE 22148,
" Extended Burnup Evaluation Methodology". We have concluded, as a result of our review of the report, that General Electric's design and analysis process with, respect to burnup considerations is acceptable. .
This review was perfonned with the assistance of Battelle Pacific Northwest Laboratory under FIN 2533. This concludes our work on TAC 48568.
The evaluation includes an assessment of the radiological consequences of accidents involving extended burnup fuel by the Accident Evaluation Branch.
