We have completed our review of Toledo Edison Company's submittals related to Generic Letter 83-28, Item 2.2 (Part 1), and we find your responses to the information requested to be acceptable.
The enclosed Safety Evaluation documents the results of our review.
Therefore, we consider Item 2.2.1 to be completed.
It is our understanding that the programs, procedures, and systems discussed in your submittals are now in use at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
Please confirm that our understanding is correct, and provide the date that you consider that the programs, procedures, and systems were completed.
This information will be used in the Commission's Safety Information Management System (SIMS).
Please provide your response not later than February 13, 1988.
