This refers to the special team inspection conducted from October 19-22, 1987

at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station.
This inspection was conducted
to follow up on corrective actions of a significant event which occurred on
September 11. This event involved a serious violation of NRC safety. require-
,
ments. The findings of this inspection were discussed with you and members of
'
your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
,
The inspection found most of your corrective actions to the event to be
complete.
Subsequent to the inspection, the appropriate individuals received
the training discussed in Sections 3.3, 4.1 and 4.2 of the report.
This was
-
confirmed by inspectors during the period October 26 - November 4,1987.
All
commitments for restart were found to be complete and were again reviewed in
our meeting on site on November 9, 1987.
