Allegation Panel
SUBJECT:
A1.1.EGAT10N RV-84-A-0043 An allegation panel consisting of B. Dodds H. Canter, A. Johnson and O.
Shackleton, along with observers, P. Morrill and C. Sorensen, convened on March 19, 1984, at 2:30 p.m.
The panel discussed two documents sent to Region V f rom the Residents at Diablo Canyon. The first document, dated March 9,1983, deals with various issues on circumventing the quality control procedures at Diablo Canyon.
Mr. Martin was shown a copy of this docu=ent by H. Canter on March 9,1984, and therefore, was made aware of these Q.C. related issues.
The second document, dated March 19, 1984, deals with intimidation and threats by the same person mentioned in document 1.
(Note: Both documents are attached as part of RV-84-A-0043.)
The allegers (3) requested confidentiality. The board reconunended:
1.
H. Canter write a memorandum transferring the intimidation issues to OlF0:RV.
2.
H. Canter write a letter to allegers discussing the board's actions.
3.
Direct the Residents at Diablo Canyon to follow up on the issues discussed in Attachment 1 to the allegation data form number, RV-84-A-0043.
Emphasis should be on completing their follovup within two weeks.
4.
Inform the allegers of the results of the findings in a close-out letter.
