As you are aware, the nomal channel of oral communication with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, NRR, is through the assigned Division of Opertting Reactors, DOR, project manager or his backup.
For the Systematic Evaluation Program, SEP, this procedure will continue to be followed to the extent practical in discussions concerning schedules, requests of additional infomation, and other matters requiring your support. However, to expedite reviews, direct oral communication between your staff and members of the SEP Branch and their supporting staff is encouraged for purposes of exchange or clarification of technical infomation. Therefore, with regard to the SEP you may expect to receive calls from NRR staff members other than the project manager.
If any such calls require a significant effort on your part, please infom the 00R project manager.
