This is in partial response to your letter dated November 22, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act copies of all containment analyses and source term estimates for the Shoreham nuclear power plant and all records concerning the " Source Term Code Package" related to NUREG-0956. In your telephone conversation on December 4 with Ms. Pool and Mr. Caruso, you clarified category A of your request to be for containment analyses relating to severe accidents.

The documents listed on the enclosed Appendix A are being placed in the PDR.

The documents listed on the enclosed Appendix B are already available at the PDR.

For your information, you may wish to contact Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation or the American Nuclear Society (ANS) for a copy of the below-listed report which was presented at the ANS Executive Conference, Ramifications of the Source Term, Charleston, South Carolina, March 10-13, 1985.
