By letter dated April 14,1997, Staff provided a request for additional information (RAl) to facilitate its review of the Monticello power rerate license amendment request. NSP has set an internal goal of responding to the RAI by July 31,1997. It is NSP's intention to respond completely by this date, and NSP will make a good faith effort to do so. The recent unplanned outage, however, has introduced additional resource constraints that may impact NSP's ability to respond to the RAI in its entirety by the aforementioned date. If necessary, NSP will submit the completed portions of the response by July 31, 1997 and submit the remaining portions within a reasonable time period thereafter.
This letter contains the following new NRC commitment.
Submit a response to the Staff's power rerate RAI letter dated April 14,1997 by July 31, 1997.
