This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by W. J. Lazarus and
others of this office on February 24-28, 1986 at the Seabrook Nuclear Power
Station, Seabrook, New Hampshire.
Areas examined during this inspection included observation of your February
26,1986 emergency preparedness exercise and other areas as described in the

NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures,
representative records, facilities and equipment, interviews with personnel,
.and observations of the inspectors.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified and no
response to this letter is necessary.
