Request for Additional Information Beaver Valley Unit 1, OL Change Request 106 1.

The corporate organization shown in proposed Fig. 6.2-1 is different from the previous offsite organization.

Provide a description of the responsibilities and authority of each of the entities shown in proposed Fig. 6.2-1 and identify where functions in the existing offsite organiza-tion (Fig. 6.2-1) are performed in the new corporate organization.

The facility organization shown in proposed Fig. 6.2-2 is different from the previous organization.

a)

Describe the responsibilities and authority of each of the entities shown in proposed Fig. 6.2-2.

b)

Identify where all the functions shown in the existing facility organization (Fig. 6.2-2) are performed in the new organization.

3.

The job categories proposed for the onsite safety committee are different from the existing committee.

a)

Describe the responsibilities and qualification requirements for each of the job categories, b)

Identify where the different job categories exist on the organization chart (Fig. 6.2-2).

The proposed limitation on the review of procedure modifications by the OSC in Section 6.5.1.6 should not relieve the plant manager of the responsibility of approving all procedure modifications (Section 6.8.2) whether or not reviewed by the OSC. Modify the proposed text to show that the plant manager or his assigned alternate retains th'e responsibility for approving all procedure modifications.
