Your letter of December 6,1985, advised us that during the period of October 8 to November 21, 1985, the configuration. of.the Oyster Creek protected area barrier was changed to accommodate several temporary work trailers within the protected area, and that you concluded that this minor temporary change did not warrant a formal revision to the Oyster Creek Security Plan.
Please be advised that any change to your NRC-approved physical security plan, even those of a temporary nature, are to be submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).
They may be submitted as a " Temporary Change" to the Security Plan, but must describe, in detail, the extent of the change (s) and the measures that will be implemented to ensure that there wil1~ be no decrease in the sa fegua rds effectiveness of the plan and should state the period during which the change (s) is effective.
" Temporary Changes" are reviewed by the NRC in the same manner as all changes submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p).
