l On March 17,1997, Sargent & Lundy (S&L) submitted its Unit 3 ICAVP P:oject Manual, consisting of the Audit Plan and the implementing project instructions, to the NRC for review.
During the week of April 7,1997, working meetings were held between L : NRC and the S&L Project Team to discuss the details of the plan and the NRC's comments and questions on the documents. j The revised project manual is enclosed which contains Revision 1 of the Audit Plan and Revision 1 of each of the twelve project instructions. The checklists to be used in the l implementation of the ICAVP are also enclosed. A new Appendix A to the Audit Plan is included which contains the position descriptions for all members of the project team, personnel resumes, and their completed NRC conflict ofinterest statements. ,

Please note that Exhibit 6 of the Audit Plan, ICAVP Implementation Schedule, has been substantially changed to reflect the NRC comments on the scope of the ICAVP and system selection methodology. The review schedule and staffing levels are based on the assumption that two systems will be chosen from NU's Wave I scope and the remaining systems will be chosen after NU has completed their Configuration Management Plan (CMP) discovery process on the y/g/
