.E g SG-1.1 The licensee shall follow Chapters 1.0 through 9.0 of its Fundamental Nuclear E

g Material Control Plan dated December 16, 1987, which has been partially revised as W

indicated by Revision 32 of page 1 (dated December 11, 1996, and titled " Revisions E

by Chapter") of said Plan. This Plan may be further revised in accordance with, E

y and pursuant to, the provisions of either 10 CFR 70.32(c) or 70.34.

y Notwithstanding the requirements of Sections 6.1 and 7.1 of the Plan identified in E

SG-1.2 Condition SG-1.1, the licensee may (1) utilize a computer system independent of E

y its Manufacturing Information and Control System (MICS) to track the SNM contained E

in fuel bundles and loose fuel rods received from the Wurgassen plant in s-rmany; E

and (2) have up to 90 days for completing shipper-receiver differences E

g determinations and evaluations associated with the initial shipment of fuel E

assemblies from the Wurgassen plant, and up to six calendar months for subsequent E

g shipments of loose rods. Receipt measurements and item controls associated with E

y these fuel assemblies and rods shall be in accordance with the commitments E

E contained in the licensee's letter (from Dr. R. J. Reda to Mr. R. C. Pierson)

18 E SG-1.3 Notwithstanding the requirement within Section 5.1 of the Plan identified in E

N Condition SG-1.1 to condu'ct a physical inventory each year between July 1st and g

N September 1st, the licensee may initiate the 1996 annual physical inventory on or g

N before September 9, 1996.

In order to satisfy regulatory intent to conduct g

N inventories at an avera'ge interval of 12 months, the licensee's 1997 annui.1 g

W physical inventory date shall be no later than August 6,1997.

R SG-1.4 Notwithstanding the commitment, in Section 7.1 of the Fundamental Nuclear Material p
