Enforcement Conference for Inspection Report 50-334/85-26
An enforcement conference was held on December 19, 1985 at the NRC Region I Office
to discuss the findings of the special safeguard inspection, Report No. 50-334/
85-26.
The topics discussed at the meeting included the November 19, 1985 incident
involving a worker's entry into the plant without an identification badge and the
history of five badge incidents over the last 18 months.
A meeting report summar-
izing the enforcement conference is enclosed.
We have concluded that the November 19, 1985 incident represented a violation of
regulatory requirements.
The violation has been categorized as Severity Level IV
and is documented in the enclosed Notice of Violation.
A portion of Appendix A enclosed has been determined to be exempt from public dis-
closure in accordance with 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4), Commercial or Financial Information
(C0FI).
Therefore, that section will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room
and will receive limited distribution.
This letter and the remaining enclosures
will be placed in the Public Document Room in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a).
