Pe: Oyster Creek P'uclear Generating Station The staff has completed a preliminary review to assess the corrpleteness and adequacy of licensee responses to Generic Letter 83-28 Ittn 1.2. For Oyster Creek, your response was found to be inccrplete in four of the areas evaluated.

The enclosed Draft Technical Evaluation Perort (DRAFT TER) generated by the staff's contractor provides a technical evaluation representing the staff's initial judgment of the areas evaluated.

In order to meet cur present review schedule, we would appreciate your cooperation in obtaining additional information thet will permit us to complete our review. It would appear that the needed infortration on your facility could be obtained by telephone conference within two weeks of your receipt of the enclosed PPAFT TER. Your project manager will be working with you to arrange an acceptable time to conduct the necessary conference calls.

The reporting and/or recordkeeping recuirerrents contained in this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, CP:B clearance is not required '
