i Enclosed is a copy of the final exercise report for the

February 9, 1994, plume exposure pathway exercise of the offsite t
radiological emergency response plans site-specific to the St.
l Lucie Nuclear Power Plant.
The state of Florida partially participated and St. Lucie and Martin Counties' fully participated in the exercise.
This report was prepared by the Faderal.
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region IV staff.
A copy of l3 the final report will be provided to the State of Florida by the j j FEMA Region IV staff.
j There were no Deficiencies identified during this exercise.
There were, however, three Areas Requiring Corrective Action i
identified.
FEMA Region IV staff will monitor the status of the I
corrective actions.
i Based on the results of the February 9, 1994, exercise, the 3
offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness l
for the State of Florida and the affected local jurisdictions,.
1 site-specific to the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant, can be i
implemented and are adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken offsite to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of a radiological emergency j
at the site.
Therefore, the Title 44 CFR, Part 350, approval of 1
the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the State of Florida site-specific to the St.

Lucie Nuclear Power Plant, granted on February 15, 1984, will remain in effect.
