l NUCLEAR POWER. PLANT Enclosed is a letter from O. Megs Hepler, III of the Federal Emergency

Management Agency (FEMA) dated M6rch 10, 1995, transmitting the subject report on the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant from FEMA Region IV.

i During.the exercise, no Deficiencies were identified. However, three Areas Requiring Corrective Action-(ARCAs) were identified in St. Lucie County.

These ARCAs involved radiological exposure control training for and provision l

of appropriate dosimeters to bus drivers, and the development of rumor control i

i procedures and rumor control staff training. Additionally, ten Areas j

Recomended for Improvement (ARFIs) were identified. A detailed description of the ARCAs and ARFIs is included in the enclosed FEMA exercise report.

Please forward a copy of the enclosed FEMA letter and exercise report to the i

licensee and request aat the licensee follow up with offsite officials on the

}j ARCAs and ARFIs.
