NRR REVIEW 0F 10 CFR 50.54(P) SUBMITTAL FOR THE TURKEY POINT UNITS 3 AND 4 AND ST. LUCIE UNITS 1 AND 2 This is in response to your letter of December 3,1993, submitting Security Plan changes, Revision 7, for the Turkey Point Units 3 and 4, and your letter of December 10, 1993, submitting Security Plan changes, Revi!, ion 39, for the St. Lucie Units 1 and 2.
Issues related to the use of hand geometry biometric access control equipment are considered policy issues and are, therefore, reviewed by the office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
i Based upon our review, we have determined that the changes submitted in Revision 7, for Turkey Point and Revision 39, for St. Lucie are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and therefore acceptable for including i
in the respective security plan.
