CHANGES TO IMPLEMENT GENERIC LETTER 89-01.

The Radiation Protection Branch has completed a selective review of Florida Power & Light Company's application, dated January 22, 1993, for proposed technical specification changes to implement the guidance in NRC Generic Letter 89-01. The review involved only items that deviated from the guidance 1

in the generic letter. to this memorandum provides our evaluation of the licensee's application.

Based on our review, we find the changes proposed by the licensee to be acceptable. The enclosed Safety Evaluation documents our findings. This completes our review under TAC Nos. M85766 and M85767. The responsible reviewer is Steve Klementowicz, 504-1084.
