PROPRIETARY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY FPL FOR RESOLUTION OF USI A-46 This is in response to your memorandum dated January 14, 1993, regarding the FPL request to grant proprietary status to their response to our request for additional information. Since we have not granted their request for that submittal, we have. discussed the matter with FPL management. They agreed that their request was not justified and withdrew the request. However, their small, original submittal describing their program remains proprietary. That 40 page, bound document entitled " Plant Specific Seismic Adequacy Implementation Procedure To Resolve Unresolved Safety Issue A-46 and Generic Letter 87-02,"
was submitted originally as Appendix B to FPL letter dated December 13, 1989.
It was again included as part of Enclosure B to FPL letter dated September 8, 1992. is a copy of your memo and Enclosure 2 is a copy of FPL's letter withdrawing their request.
