SUBJECT:

LLW. SHIPMEf.T MAN!FEST INFORMATION /.ND REPORTING In keeping with our agreen.ent, this memo relates the status of the-LLW manifest rulemaking. : As you know, the rulcmaking package that was about ready to go to the EDO was delayed to try and incorporate a." uniform manifest" at the urging-of the'TCC and with the Chairman's endorcement.

A draf t proposed rule and uniform manifest.has been completed and provided to F

OSP for state review. - I am enclosing this package.

This rule is' on the Chainnan's priority list and is on an extremely tight schedule. (Proposed rule scheduled to be issued in July). The schedule was developed assuming that CRGR would provide their formal review during the final rule stage, as was done on the previous rule package.

If I can be of any help please call.
