This refers to the routine safety inspection of emergency preparedness activ-
ities conducted during the period September 9-11, 1985 at the Calvert Cliffs
Nuclear Power Plant and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. D. Vito
with yourself and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspec-
tion. The inspection activities were concerned with observation of the
full-scale exercise used September 10, 1985.
Your emergency response actions
were adequate to demonstrate adequate protective measures for the health and
safety of the public.
No violations were identified. No reply.to this letter is required. Your
cooperation with us is appreciated.
