1. My name is Anthony J. Wynn. I am the Emergency Prepared-ness Coordinator of Emergency Medical Services for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. My business address.

is 2600 Bull Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. A summary of my professional qualifications is attached to this affidavit as Exhibit A.

2. The purpose of this affidavit is to support " Applicants' Motion For Summary Disposition of Joint Intervenors' Contention EP-4,"

which concerns the identification of hospitals for the treatment of contaminated injured individuals. I have personal knowledge of the matters set forth herein and believe them to be true and correct.

3. When published, the "Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Site Specific Radiological Emergency Response Plan, Part 7, SCORERP" (" South Carolina Plan") will identify Aiken Community Hospital (in Aiken, South Carolina) and Humana Hospital (in Augusta, Georgia) as the medical fa-cilities in the vicinity of Plant Vogtle for the treatment of any 3 members of the general public in South Carolina who might be con- ',

taminated and injured as a result of an accident at the plant. See i South Carolina Plan, Annex C. 4 il

4. The South Carolina Plan thus identifies medical services facilities with the technical capability to treat contaminated, in-jured members of the general public, in compliance with 10 C.F.R.x 3 5 50.47 (b) (12). '

Also responsible for maintaining all emergency prepared-ness plans pertaining to the South Cdrolina Department of Health and Environment Control and assuring that, plans comply with applicable state and federal regulations and statutes.
