I, Bobby R. Mauney, being duly sworn according to law, de-pose and say as follows:

1. My name is Bobby R. Mauney. I am the Emergency Pre-paredness coordinator for the Aiken County Department of Emer-gency Services. My businesc address is 828 Richland Avenue West, Aiken, South Carolina 29801. A summary of my profession-al qualifications is attached to this affidavit as'E'xhibit A.

2. The purpose of this affidavit is to support "Appli-cants' Motion For Summary Disposition of Joint Intervenors' Contention EP-4," which concerns the identification of hospi-tals for the treatment of contaminated injured individuals. I have personal knowledge of the matters set forth herein and be-lieve them to be true and correct.

3. When published, " Annex Q, Part 2,. Fixed Nuclear Fa-cility (FNF) Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) To The Aiken County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)" ("Aiken County Plan") will identify Aiken Corrsunity Hospital (in Aiken, South Carolina) and Humana Hospital (in Augusta, Georgia) as the med-ical facilities in the vicinity of Plant Vogtle for the treat-ment of any members of the general public in South Carolina who might be contaminated and injured as a result of an accident at the plant. See Aiken County Plan, S IV.O.

4. The Aiken County Plan thus identifies medical service facilities capable of treating contaminated, injured members of the general public, in compliance with 10 C.F.R.

S 50.47(b)(12).

Aiken Technical College Business Administration EMPLOYMENT:

Assistant Director Aiken County Civil Defense Agency, September 1974 - July 1976 Promoted to Director, July, 1976. Responsible for daily operation, administer budget. Coordinate the development of the Emergency Operation Plan (EOP), work with nineteen (19) Volunteer Fire Departments, five (5) rescue squads in organization, securing equipment, and coordinating their efforts during times of emergency. Serve as Aiken County Coordinating .

Office and the County Council's authorized representative in all disaster .
