Dear Mr. Stolz:
Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copics of an application for Amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Bense Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
This application requests that the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Technical Specifications, Appendix A, be revised to reflect the changes attat'ted. The proposed changes involvo Sections 6.5.1.7.c.
6.5.1.8. 6.5.2.9. 6.5.2.10, 6.7.1.c and 6.7.1.d.
The attachment provides the proposed change, its safety evaluation and significant hazard consideration. The proposed change revises the Technical Specification that requires the company Nuclear Review Board (CNRB) report to and advisa the President and Chief Operating Officer.
Under the proposed change the CNRB would report to and advise the Senior Vice prenident, Nucicar. This renults from the restructuring of the CNHB and recent corporate reorganization.
This amendment reflects an administrative organizational change already in pisce at Toledo Edison and, therefore, requests that this amendment be granted by December 31, 1985. This amendment request in a revision to our submittal dated July 26, 1985 (Scrial No. 1170) and incorporates a revised significant hazard consideration per your request dated November 4, 1985 (Log No. 1854). Therefore, no fee is required for this submittal.
