Stolz Operating Reactor Branch No. 4 Division of Licensing United States Nuclear Regulatory Commi>*nion Washington, DC 20555 Dear Mr. Stolz Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for Amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Benne Nuclear Power Station Unit No.1.
This application requests that the Davis-Besso Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Technical Specifications, Appendix A, be revised to reflect the changen attached. The proposed changes involve Sections 6.5.2.2 and 6.5.2.3.
This application provides the requested changes, safety evaluation and significant hazard consideration. The proposed changes to Section 6.5.2.2 delineates the Company Nuclear Review Board (CNRB) membership qualificationd and modifies the CNRB composition. Under "Alternaten", Section 6.5.2.3, the phranc "to nerve on a temporary basis" is deleted.
Toledo Edison requents that this amendment request be granted by December 31, 1985. However, the composition of the CNRB will remain consistent with the existing Technical Specificationn until approval is granted.
Fnclosed in a check for $150 as required by 10CFR170.12(C) for a license amendment appilcation.
