AUG 3 0 1983 MEMORANDUM FOR: Vandy L. Miller, Chief Material Licensing Branch Division of Fuel Cycle and Material Safety FROM: William J. Walker, Jr. , Ph.D.

Medical / Academic Section Materail Licensing Branch

SUBJECT:

FTE REQUIREMENTS THROUGH END OF 1983 f

The attached is a breakdown of the resources required .to accomplish assigned and anticipated work in the Medical and Academic Licensing Section j from now thru the end of 1983. As you can see, there are not enough resources to get the job done, certainly not if even minimal acceptable quality is expected.

I do have a few ideas on how to relieve some of the pressure and would appreciate an opportunity to discuss them with you.
