PP0GRESS REPORT ON 10 CFR PART 35 This is in response to your nemorandun of Decenber 20, 1983 that asked for a nonthly progess report on 10 CFR Part 35.

Coments were due March 30, 1984 Coments fron ELD were not received until May 7, 1984. Comments from RES were not received until May 10, 1984. The cognizant individuals fron both of those offices have left the agency. The ELD replacenent has been on vacation since nid May and will not return until June 13, 1984.

The nunber of connents was much greater than expected; we have-received 105 pages of connent from 12 URC offices and 11 Agreenent States. We are continuing to revise the package to reflect comments.
