this office on November 7 - 22, 1985 of activities authorized by NRC at Oyster
Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Forked River, New Jersey and to the discus-

sions of our findings held by Dr. Jin W. Chung with you and members of your

staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

The areas examined during the inspection included high-and-low pressure inter-
i
face systems which could be subjected to a potential overpressurization event
!
(EVENT "V").
The equipment inspection focused on the availability of critical
components as evidenced by plant conditions and implementation of programs.
In addition, this inspection examined the ability of the Oyster Creek staff to

utilize procedures and equipment to detect and recover from the potential event.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
