RANCHO SECO UNIT 1 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Administrative Controls AUDITS 6.5.2.8 Audits of facility activities shall be performed under the cognizance of the MSRC. These audits shall encompass:

a.
The conformance of facility operation to provisions contained within the Technical Specifications and applicable license conditions at least once per year.

b.
The performance, training and qualifications of the facility staff at least once per year.

c.
The result of actions taken to correct deficiencies occurring in facility equipment, structures, systems or method of operation that affect nuclear safety at least once per six months.

d.
The performance of selected activities required by the Quality Assurance Program to meet the criteria of appendix "B",10 CFR 50, at least once per two (2) years.
e.
The Facility Emergency Plan and implementing procedures at least once per two (2) years.
f.
The Facility Security Plan and implementing procedures at least once per two (2) years.
g.
Any other area of facility operation considered appropriate by the MSRC or the General Manager.
h.
Compliance with fire protection requirements and implementing procedures at least once per two (2) years.
i.
An independent fire protection and loss prevention inspection and audit shall be performed annually utilizing either qualified offsite licensee personnel or an outside fire protection firm.
J.
An inspection and audit of the fire protection and loss prevention program shall be perfonned by an outside qualified fire consultant at intervals no greater than three (3) years.
k.
The radiological environmental monitoring program and the results thereof at least once per 12 months.

The OFFSITE DOSE CALCULATION MANUAL and implementing procedures at least once per 24 months.
m.
The PROCESS CONTROL PROGRAM for the SOLIDIFICATION of radioactive wastes from liquid systems at least once per 24 months.

6.14.1 By no later than June 30, 1982 all safety-related electrical equipment in the facility shall be qualifted in accordance with the provisions of Division of Operating Reactors " Guidelines for Evaluating Environmental Qualification of Class IE Electrical j

6.14.2 By no later than December 1,1980, complete and auditable records 133><
must be available and maintained which describe the environmental

qualification method used for all safety-related electrical equipment in sufficient detail to document the degree of compliance with the D0R Guidelines or NUREG-0588. Thereafter, such records should be

updated and maintained current as equipment is replaced..further tested, or otherwise further qualified.
