ISSUANCE OF SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT FOR BEAVER VALLEY UNIT 2 By letter dated June 6,1985, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission issued i a final draft Safety Evaluation Report (FDSER) for the Beaver Valley Power Station Unit 2. This FDSER was issued in order that the DLC could assess the staff's concerns and provide a schedule for your submittal of additional information responsive to the open issues. We have not yet received either your schedule or your submittals. The uncertainty of receipt of the submittals make it difficult to schedule ACRS meeting since issuance of the SER is a prerequisite for the meeting. We would appreciate an early receipt of your schedule and submittals. Following the receipt of your submittals, staff meetings with DLC representatives will be arranged to expedite the resolution of the open issues. Sincerely, /J / George W.
