Contrary to 10 CFR 71.12(b) and 71.31(a), the licensee shi d

vaste S!.h materials in packaging which was not compatible.-

Shipment of HEPA filters from wet systems to burial was immediately 2

1 discontinued. The acid system filters are now neutralized before f

shipping to prevent nitric acid reactions. The above change was made under the CRR system and Procedures n!-NP-36-19 and -20 were developed to cover this operation.
