The NRC staff has completed a review to assess the completeness and adequacy of your responses to Generic Letter 83-28, Items 3.1.1. 3.1.2, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 4.1, and 4.5.1. For Crystal River Unit 3, your responses to these items were found to be adequate and to meet the intent of Generic Letter 83-28.

The staff's technical evaluation of the areas involved is summarized in the enclosed Safety Evaluation. Should you have any questions, please contact your project manager.

The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements of this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.
