An analysis of the application for special nuclear material license submitted by MCW October 21, 1957 for amendment of SrtM-33 to permit changes in procedures of operation has resulted in the following observations, conclusions and findings.
The proposed use of special nucleer material is for the conduct of research and development activities of a type specified in Section 31 of the Act. All other statements of the memorandum to the Files dated April 15,1957, 'S104 License for MCW" are incorporated by reference.
The applicant is qualified to use the material for the purpose requested in accordance with the Act and the regulations of the Conunission.
It is therefore determined that the license may be amended authorizing the activities proposed by the applicant.
