SUBJECT:
PLANT HARRIS INITIAL LICENSING EXAMINATIONS As a followup to the meeting conducted at the Region II Offices on July 23, 1985, this letter transmits the Meeting Summary as recorded by our personnel.
The agenda items of this meeting addressed: (1) Construction Schedule and Fuel Load Date; (2) Training Schedule for Licensed Operator Candidates; (3) Status of Reference Material for Examination Preparation; (4) Scope of Examination; and (5)
Contingency Plans for Examination Implementation.
Details of the subjects discussed are enclosed in the Meeting Summary.
It is our opinion that this meeting was very beneficial and that the examination process for the initial cadre of licensed operators at the Harris Plant will be much improved due to the information shared.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
