Dear Mr. Johnson:

We are requesting an allocation of special nuclear material for use in our licensed Hematite, Missouri facility. The material requested is as follows:

50 kg U235 content as uranium hexafluoride containing approximately 93% U2ss, The above quantity of UFe is to cover our anticipated require-ments for the third quarter of 1959 This material will be withdrawn from the AEC as required to maintain a supply at our Hematite Plant. The material will be transferred only to properly licensed organizations.

If there is additional infor-mation required before granting our request for this allocation, do not hesitate to call us.
