Dear Mr. Johnson:

We recently completed an order for Atomics International for conversion of UF8 to uranyl sulfate. Following completion of the job and collec-tion and purification of the residues, it has been determined that we have remaining at the Hematite, Missouri plant 13318 grams of uranium containing 118.62 grams U23e.

This material ms originally allocated to Atomics International, Canoga Park, California.

This letter is a formal request for an allocation to cover this amount j

of enterial which we propose to use in our plant for research and develop ent purposes or to be transferred to others who have allocations for such r.aterial for similar purposes.

As soon as we receive official notification of our allocation, we will execute the AEC-h5F-A forms to transfer the official responsibility o(
