This e-mail serves to transmit a request for information to support an in-office inspection of recent Wolf Creek [WCNGS] Emergency Plan and related procedure changes, summaries of which were submitted to the NRC in April 2020. Specifically, the inspection will focus on WCNGS Radiological Emergency Response Plan, Revision 21 (change summary in ADAMS Accession No. ML20118C390), and procedure EPP 06-012, Dose Assessment, Revision 17 (change summary in ADAMS Accession No. ML20105A471).

The NRC intends to complete an inspection of the aforementioned Emergency Plan and procedures changes in accordance with NRC Inspection Procedure 71114.04, EMERGENCY ACTION LEVEL AND EMERGENCY PLAN CHANGES, as an in-office inspection during the 2nd Quarter 2020.

In accomplishing this inspection, we determined that additional information is required relative to the changes and processes used by the station in affecting the changes. Details of the requested materials are included in the attachment to this e-mail. As noted in the attached, due to the ongoing Public Health Emergency, if possible, please make the requested materials available to me in electronic format using the online document portal of the stations choice, by no later than COB on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

This letter/e-mail does not contain new or amended information collection requirements subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.). Request for Information for In-Office Inspection of Emergency Plan Changes Docket 05000482 (Wolf Creek); Inspection Report 2020002 Inspection Procedure 71114.04 Relative to two recent transmittals concerning changes to the Emergency Plan and Dose Assessment procedure revisions that were submitted to the NRC (ADAMS Accession Nos.

ML20118C390 and ML20105A471, respectively), please provide the following documents in support of an in-office inspection of those changes.

1. Complete copy of the Wolf Creek Radiological Emergency Response Plan [RERP]

(AP 06-002), Revision 21, as issued on its effective date.

2. All change process applicability screens, 10 CFR 50.54(q) screens, and 10 CFR 50.54(q) evaluations completed for Wolf Creek RERP, Revision 21.
a. This request should include any Procedure Change Requests (PCRs) referenced in the 26 April 2020 submission to the NRC related to this change [PCR 68790, PCR 64956, PCR 65633, PCR 65631, PCR 71236]
3. Complete copy of Wolf Creek Procedure EPP 06-012, Dose Assessment, Revision 17, as issued on its effective date.
4. All change process applicability screens, 10 CFR 50.54(q) screens, and 10 CFR 50.54(q) evaluations completed for Procedure EPP 06-012, Revision 17.
a. This request should include any PCRs and Condition Reports (CRs) referenced in the 14 April 2020 submission to the NRC related to this change [CR 130293; PCR 70552 and PCR 70553]
5. Copy of the current revision of the Wolf Creek procedure(s) used to complete change process applicability screenings and 10 CFR 50.54(q) screens and evaluations. (If prior versions of the requested procedures were used to process the screens/evaluations requested in RFI Items 1-4, please provide the prior versions of the procedures as well.)

Due to the ongoing Public Health Emergency, if possible, please make the requested materials available to the lead NRC Region IV EP Inspector (R. Alexander) in electronic format using the online document portal of the stations choice, by COB on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
