REPORT NOS. 50-369/85-17 AND 50-370/85-18
On May 28-31, 1985, NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC Operating License
Nos. NPF-9 and NPF-17 for your McGuire facility.
At the conclusion of the
inspection,- the findings were discussed with those members of your staff identi-
fied in the enclosed inspection report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report.
Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations of activities
- in progress.
The inspector also conc'ucted independent measurements, in the
Region II Mobile Laboratory at your site, to verify your capability for analyzing
radioactive effluents and to establish and maintain standardized methodology
among regulated facilities and the NRC.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure
will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
